Heartsaver ® Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED
This course is specially designed to train those responsible for children's health in meeting state-specific requirements. Backed by comprehensive state-by-state research, it meets the regulatory and credentialed training requirements for child-care workers in all 50 states.
Formatted to allow instructors to customize it to include all topics required, the core course covers:
- Pediatric First Aid
- Asthma Care Training for Child Care Providers
- Adult/Child/Infant CPR with Mask
- Adult/Child AED.
The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid course is intended for all individuals involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency involving a child, including:
- child-care and foster-care workers
- teachers
- recreation and other community program staff
- camp counselors
- sports coaches and trainers
- new parents, guardians, and other caretakers.
Course length can range from 2.5 hours to 8 hours, depending on needs and the modules taught, with skills practice (first aid) and skills testing (CPR & AED) by an American Heart Association instructor during the course.
Price is per person. Minimum 6 students per class.

Registration/Cancellation Policy
These scheduled courses require a commitment of classroom space, material and instructor resources. If you need to cancel a course that you registered and paid for, please let us know ASAP so we can open your seat to another student who may need the course and provide you with an appropriate refund. We may also move your class registration to the next available class date, at your request. There is no charge to move your class registration to the next available class date. This reschedule must be within 60 days.No Refunds will be allowed with less than 48 hrs notice for the original class.
